FEATURED INTERVIEW

An Evening with Ashley Lucas

Ashley Lucas is a theatre professor, writer, and advocate of social justice who has worked intensively with the Prison Creative Arts Project. We're going to talk with Lucas about her work with PCAP and ask for the story behind this leader's interest in prison theater. We're going to chat about the challenges of writing a book, and about the logistical challenges of running a prison arts program. We'll talk about success and what it feels like, how to recognize it when it happens, and how to continue having success on a really intense but fulfilling project.
